Let's blow this Popsicle stand! PLUS fire beauties! Breyer's photo show!

Hi! Welcome back!
I'm just gonna continue off from my last post!
So I glued those toothpicks I talked about in.
The part I'm pointing at will be the top of the counter.
I cut 2 pieces if awesome scrapbook paper that were exactly the same size. One of them I glued on the countertop, the other to the Popsicle.
And here's my cat. 😜
I then decided I wanted shelves on the inside of the counter so I cut paper for the inside.
Don't worry about making the glue look good. It just adds support, and most glues dry clear any way. So I added lots of glue. I let the glue dry over night because there was so much of it!
I cut 1/4 inch strips of notebook paper the long way and rolled them around a toothpick so that when I actually glue them and want them to be perfect, it'll be easier to roll up.
Here are all of the papers, all coiled up!
This is what the paper looked wrapped and glued on a piece of toothpick. I'll file it and paint it and make 8 more for the display.

I also cut paper into square u-shapes. I cut a length of paper to go behind them and glued the ends to the paper. I cut one last piece for between the "u"s so I could still use that space.
The little piece is the one that'll go in between. I'll glue the shapes onto paper so there's a bottom and then glue that piece on. Or maybe I'll leave it off. Not sure yet. But that structure will be the part that holds the Popsicles. I'll show you how when I get there.
So here it is, almost done! And here's a cool thing I discovered- it fits on that shelf in the stand! That way I can get more storage out of it. Yessss!
I'm thinking about writing a price on the little paper in the middle... What do you think?
I made little platforms for the tray, and cut some shiny gold paperboard to go on top of the platforms. I poked holes so that the toothpicks will be able to fit in it and sit nicely in the display.
I glued toothpicks to the counter, and glued the sign to that.

OK! As a second-to-last thought, I decided to show you some pictures I took for Breyer's July/August photo show! The prize is Hwin, and if you want to have a chance to win Hwin, I suggest you head on over to Breyer's website and check out the photo show!
Hwin, the beautiful mustang prize.
Yes, I was taking pictures in a pot, just cuz it was perfect. That is a really old breyer grazing foal. My mom's.
I think this one's my favorite. Unfortunately, I'm unable to show you the pictures I entered after Photoshop. So yes, the 2 I entered are even prettier.

Now for some of the amazing fireworks! My area sets off a lot of fireworks on the 4th of July. Traditions! These are only a couple pics, but I hope you enjoy! Hope you enjoyed your fireworks, too!

I know. The formatting is weird and off and strange. Oh well.
That's all for now, so thank you so much for stopping by!
